Futaba 8UAP programming question

Hi guys, simple one I'm sure.

When programming an 8UAP, what exactly doe the "link" option do? I suspect it has something to do with linking programmed functions together, but can someone give me an example?

Thanks,
Kelly

link

For example, you can program a channel to follow another, let's say if you would use 2 servos for 2 elevators. Then you would "link" the trim button to this servo, so when you would trim you want both elevators to respond to the trimming function.

Hope it helps.

Cheers

Thanks Andre,

That explains it, although I'm still a bit puzzled. I was mixing in an offset to a servo based on a 3-position switch position, and it wouldn't work until I turned off the trim option. Regardless, it works now so I'm happy, just wanting the info for future reference.
