I'd "throw my hat in the ring" as well, for my Do335 Arrow, but at the rate I build, I don't think I'd finish in the year time limit!!
Good thing I'm starting with the small version, so it might actually stand a chance of being finished amongst all my other "projects"! Steve

Yeah, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever built anything scale in just a single year... I'm generally happy if I make the same decade.

Ontario Adhesives
Hi. I'd like to throw my entry into this little contest.
Over the winter, my plans are to build the Dynaflight 1/4 scale Fly Baby as per prototype N500F. It will be powered by my Saito FA100T twin, which at 16.4cc is probably on the lower end of power requirements. Its the engine I already purchased for this project. Covering will be Monocote Maroon with Cream, which is not quite to scale Red and Yellow, but, I like the combination. I've already purchased the kit, cockpit kit, and everything else required to complete this model. All I need is a bunch of free glue. I'm the kind of builder who knows a little about a lot, and not a lot about a little. As a result, I'm not into building museum quality. I do build better than I fly, as my plane graveyard will attest. At the very least, I build straight and build aircraft that fly, aside from my piloting skills. Past projects have included the SlowPoke .40, Goldberg Cub, and scratch building of the Headbutt (Model Flyer Mag), Stalhwerk Mk.III (Flying Models Mag), and the RFC fighter (Chuck Wenlock). Tried to include photos; having trouble getting this outfit to accept them. Apparently they are to large. Anyway, if you've got time, let me know. Thanks . Guy

Nice program for resizing pics. I am also thinking about entering my name. Being new to flying this year I have never built a kit before and thought it would be a great winter project.I was thinking along the lines of a Sig 4*40 or a Great Planes Rapture. Just not sure yet when I will purchase the kit Mark |
