"all class pass" prices?

Is there a "combo" pack we can purchase to run in as many classes as we want for sunday racing?

I was thinking of getting a 1/18th, but since I'm already in 4 classes, a 5th would bump me to paying $30/day i think i'll skip the mini's if that's the case...

How about family passes....
I am looking at another 1/10 scale
and now
my daughter wants to race.

3 racers, with a possibility of 2 classes each.

Definitely - we will discuss with Sid. He's been wanting to work out some plan for passes, for racing and practice. Will keep you posted.

there will be a combo pass for those who race in multiple classes

we're working on a multi pass for the day's racing. we'll keep you all updated. for this weekend it should be in place.

don't hold back from getting into the 1/18 or otherwise.

ciao

Sean

excellent!! sean know's i've been eyeing the vendetta... he even crashed on purpose a few times when I was marshalling the 1/18th race so I could "get a chance to touch it" as he put it lmao

crushed420 - LOL... you're going to be the only "all class" man at the track... it will be 'your thing' - making the most of your time spent at Sid's!

Day Passes

It's been decided, for Sunday (or holiday Monday) race days:

$20 - unlimited classes per person.
$25 - family pass, unlimited classes, unlimited family members.

If one person is running in every class, they will be responsible in finding someone to marshall to take their place.

Isnt 20$ a little steep? Wont that turn away some people from showing up if thats the price? I like the idea of 10$ for use of both tracks all day, but thats just my 2c.

For general use ( non race days ) I assume the 10 dollar fee stands.
What mike was refering to above was race registrations ( race days )

1 class = $10
2 class = $15 ( the extra 5 is for the second class entered )
3 classes or more is $ 20

Mike, Sean,
Please correct me if I am wrong

Yes, Brad (Bdegan) is correct... this is for race days only, but Sid is working on a 'family pass' for practicing, as well as some kind of program where you practice 6-10 times and get one free....

The main thing that will turn away some people will be when Sid has to shut down the track because he spent over $14,000 on it so far, and doesn't see any support or money coming in. He still plans to spend another $7000-$8000 on the AMB lap counting system, so let's show some support!

I hope this doesn't sound harsh in the least - the average person will run 1 or 2 classes, which will cost them $10-$15 for the day. Anyone who runs 3 or more classes pays $20, but they are truly getting the most out of their day, and more track time.

Sammy's Speedway in London charges $50 for the frist class and $10 for each additional class. I know this is over the top... but the idea of having fun is all relative, even if they have an amazing track, etc...

Even back in the day, when there were offroad tracks in the GTA, for weekend racing it was $15-$20 plus $5-$10 per additional classes, yet NONE of those tracks survived...and that was over 15 years ago!

If anyone feels Sid's is priced unreasonably, please post an honest suggestion - We just don't want Sid to scrap the whole idea by next spring b/c he feels that it's not worth his while.

mike
