grp and ninja motors

your best bet is to pm one of the sprucewood team losi guys as they are running the grp motors this season.

im sure they will be able to tell you what the differences are if any.

its kind of like the picco evo2 .21 engine is basically the same as the jammin .21 red head engine . the only difference is the cooling head and the turbo plug.

GRP Ninja

I am not 100% but I think the new ninjas are made by O.S., which is a Japanese engine, and the older Ninjas are made by GRP, which is a Italian engine... BIG Difference!

as already mentioned here, the new grp engines are very similar to the ninja's they built for mugen, it is different in many ways according to grp, obviously the much larger head and stiffer case design are easy to see, but they claim all the internals use everything they have learned while building the ninja/falcon/boss engines for the last while
the way i understand it, they are manufactured with most of the "mario rossi tuned" (mrt) work incorpoated into the cnc production, so in esence they are a factory modded engine at a lower price than hand modding the same engines would cost, it should also yeild very consitent engines
i heard the ninja's are excellent engines so run it! and if you like it i'm sure the grp would be an excellent next engine for you
