What size ESC?
Does anyone know what size ESC I would need to run 4 speed 400's in GWS 6:1 gearboxes ? I'm looking for an approximate size. Am I better off with 1 large ESC, 2 smaller ones or 4 smaller esc's ? I want to power a 4 engine bomber (Lancaster).

You should be able to get away with one ESC, that way, all the motors will run same way, rpm, etc, will be simpler as well.
A 40 AMP minimum will be sufficient, 50amp if you will be squeezing the max out of the 400s, however, the allup weight should be around 6lbs. Or you could use one each for one side, around 25amp, however, it would be best if they are at least same models.
