Not tight. I velcro them wide side flat (on the pull out tray) and they fit fine. if you do narrow side to the tray they would be even better but that doesn't work n the 500s and I don't like to waste velcro

here they are in the goblin - near the beginning you will see them going in. check out the end of the video - lots of power!

Also
THe zippy will deliver 100 amps plus continuously (115 amps rated)
The 600 has an 80 amp speed controller - lots of extra capacity if needed - they will deliver at 45c in bursts - thats 148 amps!

Re: 12 cell lipo options

I'm using the 530kv KDE motor and the CC120hv. I may end up getting a gens ace 4400mah 12s or two.

Re: 12 cell lipo options

Does anyone have time to measure the battery compartment on the Trex 600E pro? It would help me out tons!

Re: 12 cell lipo options

THOR Lipos have been working VERY well, and they're also a reasonable option that is available now.

Re: 12 cell lipo options

First look at what you have in the way of chargers ?S per charger

If you have only 6S chargers I would go with 6S packs wired together to make the # of cells you need.

need 12S use 2 6S as it is more cost efficent if you have other electrices that can use the same batteries.

So you could have a 4s and a 2s together to make a 6s.

May be more batteries and wire yet you can have more options for different RC's.

Re: 12 cell lipo options

you can put a 4200mah battery in it as well just makes it a little heavy... i think the best bang for you buck is gen ace batteries they are as cheap as the voltz but will last alot longer. i use them in my fusion and my buddy uses them in his 600efl.... voltz tend to puff up in my experience i fried so many of them.. they dont last long.. also the pulse ultra from rotor quest are good too.. i heard they are made in the gen ace factory.. i have had gen ace for like 2 yrs now no puffing and like 300 flights still great batteries.. and they under rate the C rating.. a 40C is like a 45C IMO..
