Where could get piano wire from? Thats a nice set up you got there, I can't wait to get the LT 40 up in the air. I have a GWS E-Starter on floats just love it. Took my Savage out yesterday played in the dirt and you know what it not as fun as flying, when I came home the wife says to me "did you have fun" I said no not realy think I just about gave here a heart attack. Savage might go up for sale by another plane.Thanks for the help.

You probably can get it at your local hobby store. GH has it as well if you are ordering other stuff from them but it comes in 36 " lengths see link below. Most landing gear is made from piano (music) wire. I built all of the struts for the floats from this stuff it's good and strong but it is tough to bend. You may want to try this web site for some more info.
