Remove the pull start and one way bearing, then replace the standard back plate with a bump start back plate and you are good to go.
OR Just leave the motor the way it is. I start my buggy, that has the pull start still, all of the time with a starter box instead. Most people convert the motor because the pull start and one way put a bit of drag on the motor when installed. But it does not really rob much power and the pull start is there if the battery in your starter box dies. |
