Anyway, see (most) of you guys on the 12th...

Hi
I wish I could but I can't make it, I might have a refrigeration teaching assignment in Kitchener but it's on Feb 27 from Monday until Thursday that week.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hummmm, no comment on my new foamie????? Better use Blue foam next time I build something different...
Found the problem with that 5gr motor, broken wire, like the other 3 I got... They since have fixed this problem using a little heavier wire guage, so, have ordered a couple of these.... In the meantime, borowed one from my good buddy, Eugene, who's laid up with a broken ankle for a while, to test on that newbie..... Hey, who's got some Blue foam???
Art.

Hi Art

I need a picture of the whole plane before I can comment, I didn't want to use partial comments but the plane's front section looks familiar.

Re: Blue Foamie

Well, you asked for it, here's the new indoor... A profile of the old Guillows stick and tissue Laser kit... But in foam..
Different motor on it now and it works... Test flew it in our condo complex yesterday, pretty good considering it's only a 1C 170mAh lipo..
Oh ya, and another heli, designed in Germany... Darn nice workmanship on this...
So, what do you think??

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Art
That model looks good, it looks like a very stable design, let us know how it handles, I seem to recall seeing it in some older magazine.
As far as a German helicopter, I have to agree with you I married a German, they make good stuff.

Re: Blue Foamie

I would like to thank North Shore RC Modelers for inviting us to do a flying demo at Georges Vanier School in Elliot Lake today. Following my 30 minute introduction to model aviation with over 50 students from jk to grade 7, Raymond Rivet, Steve Lapper and myself, flew our foamies .
The kids were fascinated by our performance but I think the part they enjoyed the most was when Ray and I had mid air. With so many kids we had to be very careful and take special precautions, we achieved a safe and memorable demonstration.

Steve, myself and Ray

Sorry Mike, maybe next time, we could have easily and safely had someone with a model like a Blade msR.
