Peter,
Are you valves closed during filling? if one is sticking open and the manual fuel shut off valve is open it can put an excess amount of fuel into the turbine. You should be able to test each valve and blow through them when open, but not when closed.
Just another thought of something you can check before you replace it.
Sean

No kidding....

Could be a number of simple reasons Peter. Dirk is very responsive at Kingtech. Give him a call and he will help you right away.
I have been very impressed with Kingtech and run them on diesel now.

Cheers
Dean

Re: Kingtech 180 kero start

Ya Peter... you could also try Barry. I had a set-up issue with my K180G and Barry answered the phone right away and had the problem diagnosed (my error) and had me back on track in minutes.

I had awesome luck with my K180G... No flames, perfect reliability and tons of power. If I still had it, I'd compare settings with you.

Re: Kingtech 180 kero start

The parameters on both my 180 and 210 are exact to specs in manual. Never had any issues... I love these engines!
