Arrow King R/C Digging Party - SUN JUL 24/05

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
King R/C needs YOUR help this coming Sunday!

The track surface is coming along but helpers are needed to smooth out the lumps and bumps after the heavy machinery does its thing.
Needed are volunteers with a good strong shovel and or hard rake (not the kind for leaves) who are willing to spend a few hours smoothing out berms and jumps before the real heat of the day begins (around 1 or 2 pm).
Its important to get a jump on this part of the job so that rain and erosion will work its magic on the finished surface for as long as possible before the event.
Anyone willing and able to make it out to help this cause is more than welcome to bring their R/C for a short bash session after the work is completed. Please remember that the gates will be closed at 10:00 am to let the dawgs run free. No late arrivals.

Anyone interested in helping out should have the following:
Strong shovel and/or strong rake
Work gloves (blisters from shovels SUCK!)
At LEAST a 2L supply of water for themselves (you'll need it)
Dirty old shoes that can get muddy (if the track has muddy sections). Workboots ar even better
Bug spray
Hat to cover their head
Suntan lotion - the higher the SPF the better.
** UPDATE ** GAS POWERED WEED EATERS NEEDED!!!

Please post your attendance in the King R/C section of this board, and not this thread.

Thanks for your interest and hope to see many of you there.
