i've run 30% from trinity, sidewinder and powermaster and they all worked awesome... you do have to add a head shim though

ok thanks guys 4 the info ,now i am running 25% nitro and all my isues r gone the stock savy is pushing 63 km without popping plugs.

on the other hand i have yet to add shims with 30..my motors have runs strong with no plug issues...i hate to say it but rc tom can hear what your motor needs most of the time.....

You are typically told by the engine Manufacturers to add a .10 MM head when going up to a 30N. I did for my STM engines just because I was new then to the hobby.

I however did not have to add any to my Mach 26's (.20 MM stock) and Picco 27 (.50MM stock). I have even broken in my Piccco 27 with a 30N12SCOB and the Mach 26's with Sidewinder's 30N10SCOB.

Too rich or too lean will cost you a plug. I my case, I found a metal slug stuck in the plug's coil which indicated that I had metal chips in my crankcase that made it to the combustion chamber. Cause was a cracked 1 Way bearing casting on the Picco.

I suggest that you open up your engines cylinder head and back plate.

I am currently using Sidewinder's 30N10SCOB which runs a cooler temp than the 30N12SCOB because of the lesser oil content and loving it. As usual I run neither lean or rich tuning for performance and temperature.

To lean a mixture pops plugs. Most .21+ motors are designed to run 30% nitro. 30/10 fuel is a good fuel. Sidewinder is 30/11 if I'm correct. Kenora could tell you exactly what it is. If you are changing from 25% to 30% in the same brand of fuel you might have to only change your needles slightly. If it's a totally different brand. It might take a little more needle setting.
