Bashing Threads

What gives with all the thread hijacking and bashing going on here the past while? Man, it does get to be a bit much when one opens a thread that I think would maybe have something I need or could use, only to find a "hate thread" has taken over the previous title. And it doesn't stop!! They go on and on and on and on and on....... BLAAAAHHHH!! Give it a rest already and deal with it in private, somewhere else. I really don't need to see this crap. And IMHO, should not be allowed.

Re: Bashing Threads

There have been 2 or 3 threads from one seller that has obviously upset a few modelers; to not be warned of such dealings is wrong!
If a good price and the chance to land a "deal" is a risk you're willing to take then best to you! I myself appreciate the heads up and it is then my choice to move on.......

I never thought someone would complain about a warning!

Hey Greg you could be onto something. just think about it " the bashing thread " where you could come and call anyone a f.... Idiot and go on and on. the rest of us that are more civilized could go on with the rest of the site and not be bothered . It has my vote 100%

Re: Bashing Threads

There was actually one site that had a feedback forum, I can't remember which site it was. We use to check within it before we made a puchase from someone, it worked well.

Maybe we need another thread called "R/C Battleground"

Re: Bashing Threads

There is a lot of pointless bashing that goes on for sure, but when somebody has ripped somebody off and it hasn't been resolved, or when somebody is trying to jerk somebody around, I have no problem with the warnings, or calling the person out. I would rather read a thread that has gotten off topic or ugly than make a deal and get screwed. There is a lot on this forum that would be better discussed in PM, I'm guilty of not doing this, but there are certain situations which should be mentioned in public to protect fellow modelers.
Just my opinion.
