Finally it's(almost) finished!
Hope you don't mind me posting this in this topic, but I'm ecstatic after running it for the first time today. I have more details to add to it, but the motor, radio and cooling system worked flawlessly . I have about 150 hours in it so far and it's been fun to build.(from scratch) Now all I need is a calm day for "Sea trials"
Specs: 56" long X 18" wide "(double planked Mahogany, fibreglassed below water line, 10 coats of Minwax Spar Urethane) 22 lbs. Mitsubishi 18cc motor/clutch Water cooled with pump Hitec radio All running hardware "home-made" |

Well, that certainly is a fine piece of woodwork. And it is "general RC.."
Those older style runabouts allways turned me on. Very VERY nice!

Very nice! All you need is a little driver in it and some action pics.....I bet you could pass it off as the real thing if you had good enough pictures

What a finish, I can't believe you want to put that in the water.
Great job Bob
