Track build and bash May 10th

In Lieu of Mothers day on Sunday we will be getting together on Saturday after 2:30pm at the track location beside the Hobby Shoppe.

We need rakes, shovels, gas weed eaters, and possibly a brush hog to clear some more track for the layout.

We added close to 100ft of usable track and started on a couple of smaller jumps last weekend. Please remember that we are not tilling the land but we are more just wearing it out.

This week the jumps need to be widened and we have plotted out another good 200+ feet of track to be prepped.

This will pretty much define the size of area we want to run. The next step is to devise a layout and barrier setup for it.

So far we have had everything from RC18Ts' to 1/8th Monster trucks running on it pretty good. Natural terrain adds some interesting aspects to driving that are not available on carpet or groomed tracks. It is really quite challenging.

Oh ya, large ant hills provide an interesting hop when you run them over....

See ya Saturday.

AND PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU PARK BEHIND THE STORE!!

Thanks

Good Job today folks.

With everyones help we added a table top jump and about another very large sweeping section to the south part of the track. We also extended the north side quite a bit and removed some natural obstacles that could be hazardous to A-Arms. overall

As a natural terrain track this thing pretty fun.

Tuesday night will be a good bash session.

How bought the un-natural terrain~ LMFAO! I hit that pipe sticking up on the north-side and broke a servo, servo arm, tie-rod, and 3 of 4 pieces to my steering linkage.

I am going to bring a shovel on tuesday and pull that pipe out. It is only about a foot long and probably dates back to the early iron ages.

That sucks andrew. I was working on the south side and never made it up to the north end and never even new about it.

Please pull it out now that you know where it is
