Re: Scale jet club!!!😉

Awesome Andrew!! Calgary has one of the biggest populations of scale birds I've seen (in my limited travels).

If I can find a pic of my T-45 I'll get it posted.

Probably a lot have seen pictures of my A-10 but here is one taken in the Spring, that a nice gentleman locally had taken.

Re: Scale jet club!!!😉

Ah, found a couple. Looks a bit different now. Added a cockpit with pilots and speed brakes. Hoping to finish the gear doors this winter.

Re: Scale jet club!!!😉

A few of the scale jets I have had over the past years. Unfortunately I no longer have any of them. Some were sold and some were disposed of by other means.

Re: Scale jet club!!!😉

Nice looking Vampire, whose kit was it and how did it fly? I have a Tony Nijhuis Vampire on the board as my winter project and a VT80 for power. Planning on RCAF 410 Squadron St Hubert for colour scheme.. Paint will be Klass Kote which I have just used to paint a hanger 9 P47. Great stuff to work with.

Re: Scale jet club!!!😉

The F5 has to have some of the nicest lines for a jet ( with exception of the F-4 of course ) It just looks like a jet should!

It's a Hobby King electric foamy. It flew very nicely until I attemped a loop at low level with a battery that was just about out of charge. Did a nice snap at the top of the loop and I was to low to recover.
I have seen other Vampires fly, I believe they may have been Germania models, and they fly very nicely and are impressive in the air. Yours should work out well. Attractive color scheme.
