Wow. That is a fascinating flying machine. Too bad there were no details if the flying mechanism. Is it h
just a quad with a "tree" in top or were parts of the tree contol surfaces? I wish they showed a little more detail of its construction.

Not sure how they would have made it lift vertically without a quad, I think their is either a quad really high above the tree and it is attached by a string, or he put the blades in the presents since they are sort of in a quad arrangement...

If you look carefully at the video, you can see the motors of the quad about halfway up the tree.
The pilot/designer is Otto Diefenbach. He's done a lot of interesting stuff like that. He's famous for his Flyguy, which got a lot of attention in California. He's turned it into a promotions business. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4udteAsYjMc Gordon

Yes, makes sense to have the props further up the tree, was wondering how a Gyro could compensate for something so top heavy if they had been in the presents. The props are very well hidden...
