A few years ago some guys run thier boats at Riverside Park in Guelph.I don't know if it's still allowed.Nice spot though.

Above or below the damn? I've seen sailboats below the damn, but that's about it.

I used to run my .21 mono further down the speed river and never had a complaint, but it was only ever me, not a group of people.

You may want to contact the KWFD (Kitchener Waterloo Flying Dutchmen) radio control club. They fly at the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club near the farmer's market. There is a dam and lake at the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club. Also, they have permission to fly their float planes in Floradale and they pay a small yearly fee to do this.

if you are into sailing... there are 2 spots.. I sail at silver lake.. (waterloo Park) and wellesly.. alot of guys go there to race. but if you just want to sail.. and relax.. i love silver lake. nice wind . little currant. and nice people..
