This is the second convert I have done.

Usually I just cut the firewall and replace it with 3/16 ply moved back a bit.

This one flies great. It has a Saito 40 and really moves along.

Don't be afraid to buy an electric and convert them.

You can do a lot of flying on 4oz of fuel. Sorry about that it should be 6oz. I forgot what size tank I had in it.

One does not want to dead stick this thing, as it isn't a floater. I do use the flaps!

Re: Eflite Mr. Mulligan with Saito 40

Awsum Richard, I'll bet it flys real nice. What's the orange Fokker in the background?

Nice match of the Saito 40 to the Mulligan. What run times do you get?

Re: Eflite Mr. Mulligan with Saito 40

Hi Bill

I have this thing for 30's Air Craft. Monocoupe, Howard DGA, Clip Wing Monocoupe (you know about that one) and of course Mr. Mulligan.

The Fokker Dr.1 is a Flair kit that must be I think 16 years old now. I really should recover it as it is looking like it was in the war.

Hope all is well with you.

Richard

Everything is great Richard. I know about the 30's thing, got the same problem.
You need a Velie Monocoupe to complete your fleet.

Re: Eflite Mr. Mulligan with Saito 40

That is a classic for sure.

I have the plans for a Curtis Jr. that Is on my list. I think my Saito 170R3 would be perfect up top.
