Super V 27 Electric
I replaced the speed control with a 70 amp opto and first tried it with a 3700 mA pack and the speed was better than my friends with the two NiCad batteries. Then I hooked up 4 2100 mA two in parallel on each side then each side in series for 22/24 volts.
Yikes darn thing jumped right out of the water on hole shot. Could only hold full throttle for a few seconds on flat water then it begins to chine walk. Sucker does it ever go. Anyone else playing with these things? Dennis |

Re: Super V 27 Electric
The SV is only desiged to run in the Mid 30's to Low 40's, anything above that and the boat becomes very unstable. If you running the stock motor, it won't last very long at that voltage.

Re: Super V 27 Electric
Motor temp is acceptable no different than with the twin packs even after extended running will have to see how long it lasts. Running twin turn fins and trim tabs, rudder tucked in a hair so nose will not climb in turns and prop out rigger left stock as it came out of the box. I expect a bit more speed with the wind near calm will let you know.
