One other point.. now with less area for pitting.. none under the tower and specific to area.

Has the committee come up with a max registration #?

What about pit areas? is space going to be limited to each person.. if I show up with a 15 x 15 foot canopy am I not kind of hoging space?? (example )

I don't even have a table, nor a tent.

I'm sticking with a rain jacket and some sort of scabbed together table (if I get time).

This is the one thing that I left out of the planning process ha.

According to the driver's list thread, Summer Shakedown is about 10-20 entries above the largest trophy race last year.

There was more than enough room for everybody to pit at that time.

Considering that the increase is coming primarily from folks running multiple classes, I suspect that pit space will not be an issue.

At Tillsonburg the max registration issue came down to time. The drivers stand size, which dictated the max # of drivers per heat and the time to run all the heats being the cause(s).

With the new addition to the driver's stand at Sid's I'm guessing that the larger number of drivers will be accomodated in the same number of heats (more drivers per heat though), and thus in the same amount of time available.

You can pick up a card table at Wal-mart for $24 that will get you by for awhile and you can always use it for poker games later as well, LOL!

FYI, I could be wrong, but I believe the church is considered a historic building, its something like 150+ years old.
