Erm.. well as some may have noticed from previous posts I am new to the whole RC racing busines..(well relatively new). Now my father-in-law is part of an RC flying club I think it is called T.A.R.M.A.C, I know thats for local people from the area. Kirkland Lake and surrounding towns and such.. I think the flying field they have is near Engleheart.

Anyways my question being.. is there any racing club or something of the sort even remotely close to Kirkland Lake? It would be nice to be able to meet with people to race and to get help from and such.

Sorry if I am a bother with posting in the wrong place or asking too many questions.. I did not know where to post this or if anyone will bother to anwser.

Hey Draukarius

We just had a bash up in Haliburton that was a great turn out, We had 17 people come up and have fun, even with the snow and harsh winds we still had a great time.

My truck was a complete right-off at the end of the bashing, I had to replace the whole front end and the tranny

Anyhow, I will be heading again up to Haliburton in the new year on a business trip, I will post the date and time as it comes along...

What do you run..? Where do you run..?

Because I know Kirkland lake fairly well, Did alot of business trips up that way this summer and alot of bashing

Well as I said I just got into it.. so er.. basicly I have run this car twice.. and thats it.. cuz I have to paint and prep the body.. and its been snow and bad weather all around here.

But I have a brand spankin new Tamiya Twin Detonator.. rearing to go and I am itching to give it a good workout.

I used to have a Tamiya 4wd Ford Escort and another simple offroad buggy but after moving from Holland to Canada I could not bring them (and I have been out of it for 5 years about).
