Tamiya would like to welcome 2 more people to its offroad racing program:

Abiye Birku and Gareth Houben

Abiye and Gareth join Steve Bortolotti and Martin Crisp on the Canadian TRF Team and will be running the 801x buggy and the 801xt truggy starting next weekend at the GLORCS race in Niagara! Their offroad experience will help further develop Tamiya's offroad racing program in Canada and hopefully bring some more race wins our way!

Welcome to the team guys! We are delighted to add some offroad experience to our driver lineup!

Steve Bortolotti

Thanks for the warm welcome Steve. I'm really looking forward to putting the kits together giving them a nice workout. Got a lot of building to do next week, can't wait.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Really looking forward to running these new machines. My first RC ever was the grasshopper, so returning to my roots! Come check out the 801x and 801xt at the Niagara GLORCS race next weekend.

WOW! This is certainly exciting news. I can't wait to see Abiye and Gareth rip with their shiny blue shock towers! LOL...

Congratulations boys. Your two of the areas top drivers and are very worthy of an opportunity like this. I'm looking forward to seeing your cars and truggies up close and personal. I'm sure they'll be solid contenders in your guys' hands.

My hats off to Steve Bortolotti too! He's most certainly been involved in creating this exciting opportunity for both of the guys and Tamiya. Well played Steve. Well played!
