That is quite the manual. Did you set up the auto choke feature.

All I did on my 116, was use a choke servo. I imagine Derrick will as well.

Ya... I didn't use the auto choke feature either. After 51 reads of the manual I gave up.

I tried Auto choke. It was ugly in every aspect. The engine was usually flooded and I was out of breath.
