One of my first planes was the Jim Walker Firebaby. a few yrs after that.
Some of you old pharts may remember that one.

Happy to say that my intro to model flying was a Jim Walker American Junior Firebrat with a Fox .15.

That was probably the first ARF too. Already painted, just stick a wing, stab and fin on the fuse. Mount the engine, tank, bellcrank, leadouts, wheels and pushrod. Fuel up and go fly!

Plenty of skill required for sure, but in my view RC planes should fly like full size plane, haven't seen a full size do any of those manouvers.

Why ??Real planes are actually learning from what we are doing in the r/c field . If you don't like 3-D you don't have to fly that way .I love the fact that r/c planes do not have the same limitations as real planes because they would IMO get boring real fast if they did.
