One of my first planes was the Jim Walker Firebaby. a few yrs after that.
Some of you old pharts may remember that one.

Happy to say that my intro to model flying was a Jim Walker American Junior Firebrat with a Fox .15.
That was probably the first ARF too. Already painted, just stick a wing, stab and fin on the fuse. Mount the engine, tank, bellcrank, leadouts, wheels and pushrod. Fuel up and go fly! |

Plenty of skill required for sure, but in my view RC planes should fly like full size plane, haven't seen a full size do any of those manouvers.

Why ??Real planes are actually learning from what we are doing in the r/c field . If you don't like 3-D you don't have to fly that way .I love the fact that r/c planes do not have the same limitations as real planes because they would IMO get boring real fast if they did.
