Yep, that is certainly a different point of view and you are entitled to it. I would venture a guess that you never served in the military or have never had any affiliation with them whatsoever. Too bad. The very least you could do is recognise the Team for their skills and the leadership they represent for the young of this country. I would love to hear about any other group that excells as Ambasadors for this great country as they do.

Don't even talk to me about "waste of taxpayers dollars" in the same breath you talk about the Snowbirds. Considering how the leaders of this country have decimated and squandered what was once a fine military, they are doing the best they can with the crap that they have. I can think of a hundred ventures that Politicians have wasted yours and mine tax dollars.

I hope they continue to represent the finest in this country's Airforce, for though they wear wings on their uniforms, they very much demonstrate the qualities of all of the branches of the Service. I hope they remain to be a part of the Canadian airspace for years to come, whatever the means.

Spar - Proud to be Canadian.

Couple of years ago the Military was trying to can the Snowbirds because they felt the money could be better spent somewhere else and I agree. You never guess who saved the Snowbirds........a politician.... Jean Chretien. So it's the politcians that are keeping the Snowbirds alive not the Military.
