If you surf Youtube with AXARMODEL as the search you will find several videos of the exact planes that GH is offering. I have built the red blue white and black 50CC extra and am happy with the quality of it.

Re: GH Air???????

There are only a handful of factories in China where the products are made.

I am having some stuff built over there and you run into the same models under different names everywhere.

Cyclone Hobby is a distributor, picking up lines from several of the factories in China. Great Hobbies more than likely imports from them, as does Cermark, Peak and a few others.

I would think that by at least buying from GH you are supporting a Canadian company and they will have some sort of accountability to the product (although they are in turn sending that money to china and running a markup - like any retailer). Buying direct from China can be a problem for some that have shipping damages, defects and questions. It will be more difficult to get product support from an overseas distributor than a company in you own back yard. You may pay the 50%-80% markup on the planes from GH, but i bet they'd be more likely to support the product in a timely matter than the direct distributor in China.

The quality of the most of the Generic ARFs available through the distributors will not be top-notch. However, that being said, you can definitely get them to be a great flying plane with a little work and will keep you in a reasonable price range. (I know I was given a 50cc Cermark Edge and once I got it fixed up, it was a blast). The biggest trouble with the Cermark/Peak/GH/CH/DH-RC/Goldwing that you will notice is 90% of the time the Incidence of the Horizontal stab is waaaaaay off, and their parts don't always line up... but like I said, a little work and you'll have a really fun plane.
