I had the best run today specially when the tank is nearing empty which solidified my belief that the boat is nose heavy. Removing the foams I had in the nose and just leaving the air filled sandwich bags made the boat plane even better.

More testing to do tomorrow after work at BroA.

sounds good man

im gonna head out over to brother for about 4:30, i got the frankenmotor all built with a new top end and a cooling jacket made of a section of an aluminum baseball bat (originally intended for a tuned pipe) wich fit snugly over the o rings, as it stands its both air and water cooled so should be able to idle on land for a bit, but after brake in and a few test runs im gonna pull it out and shave all the fins off the flywheel (hopefully gain a couple of rpm's) and begin porting my old cylinder (which is still like brand new).

jun thx for the fuji jacket but couldnt make it fit so ill have it with me tomorrow, hopefully see you there.

Keep the jacket Tom.
I found some good reading on boat set up and according to it my boat is front heavy as it was and as it is now. My choices are, move the engine back 2 -3" or relocate my tank as close as possible to transom and make it out of tin at twice the capacity, or add weight to the rear.

I am trying the add weight tomorrow by using water in a ziplock bag which is already in the boat. Going to BroA right after work around 3:45 PM. Hopefully it will not rain.

I didn't like the added weight it made the boat slow. Unfortunatley as well, I had a mishap with the engine as some slag from the home made header made its way back into the combustion chamber and ceased the piston to the cylinder head.

Thanks for the piston head Tom. I bought the cylinder head from RC Sports. Break-in time again at BroA today at 3:45 PM after work. I have also relocated the stock gas tank where I had the Radio Box.

I have never quit on anything I have taken on in my life. Today is the test for this boating hobby...
