I use bike spokes(pushrods too me) and bend them and punch them through into the flutes into the horizontal and vert stabs
really stiffens it up

do you glue them in or they just sit in the flutes....a pic or diagram please if you have one......I want to put some on my planes more speed LOL

For my way
I usually bend the last 3 inhes or so at about 30 degrees and poke them through into the flute on the horizontal stab and then bend the other end and poke it through the vertical stab, takes a bit of bending but tis simple and it works well
