Elec Where to get Hyperion Products?

Hyperion has a full line of electric products. I don't see much of it here in Canada. Is it overshadowed by more popular brands such as EFlite, 3DHobbyShop, ExtremeFlight, etc.?

Re: Where to get Hyperion Products?

I have purchased Hyperion products from Aircraft World in Japan. Service has been very good with quick delivery. Unfortunately they have just posted the following on their site;

AIR CRAFT WORLD's web server suffered a catastophic failure several weeks ago, and it was then that we also learned our offsite backup drive had also failed. As a result, we lost our entire database, and had to reconstruct much of the website. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused our customers. We are currently working hard to rebuild the products database, and hope to be back online for sales by March 15th.

Re: Where to get Hyperion Products?

I bought a pair of Hyperion chargers from these guys last year. Service was prompt but they didn't process my 10% discount coupon as they should have.

As far as I can tell, Hyperion is registered in Hong Kong, isn't it? It's odd to me that their spokeman (Nippon Dave?) is in Japan.

Rod, were your Hyperion products shipped from Japan or Hong Kong?

Re: Where to get Hyperion Products?

You might have trouble getting anything shipped from Japan over the next while, depending on what part it is coming from. That earthquake and tsunami they suffered was pretty devastating to certain parts of the country!

Re: Where to get Hyperion Products?

I get my Hyperion products from AlleRC as MarkToo mentioned. They are reasonably priced and shipping was prompt.

http://www.rcflightstore.com/ (Canada) also carries a limited selection of Hyperion products.

http://zonehobbies.net/en/ (Canada) carries quite a bit of Hyperion stuff... but you better be bilingual because the English website is partly written in French.

Re: Where to get Hyperion Products?

I just ordered my hyperion stuff from AJ Hobby. Prices are higher but then you don't have to pay shipping and duty, so at the end of the day you're pretty close to even.
