One has to see that model in flight to appreciate what the real one did look like.
The sound, the speed, the smell is very real.
It has been built by François Lamarre club President of the Ile Perrot Flying
Club. Known as MAVIP (Moulin a Vent de l'ILe Perrot Club) one of the oldest club
in the Montreal area.

(The name given to this club is about the only two still operating windmills
in Quebec who are open to the public during the summer for tourist attractions.
This one is only a few kilometers away at the tip of the island)

It looks like a nice plane. and a good picture whoever took it did a nice job.

up until a few months ago I would not have reconized it as a vampire as I had never seen a vampire. now i see one everyday. There is one being restored in Southern Ontario. sadly it is not the Canadian version, but still a Vampire.
