Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

My kid stayed home today to take care of mom. So I got 6 flights on each if these today. The aeroplus 111" is unreal, so much control and the gp123 pulls it around like a rag doll

The foamy was pretty impressive, definitely not overpowered but I have better batteries now I just need to put ends on. It's like a rolling harrier trainer I bet lol could even roll it (Brodie). Lots of fun today and a great turnout.

Little disappointed there was no control line training sessions but we still had some good laughs

Sorry to disappoint Dan. I am no quitter, like some guys. A CL plane is in the process of being built and I have to straighten the crank from lesson #1.

That 123 sounded awesome on the cans. This is the way I am going on my 111" now for sure

WOW....2 days a without a post. Been working on my sweet 3DHS Extra 330LT.

Bit of a warning on the engine mounting cross hairs. My horizontal line was low by 3 mm and vertical line had to me moved 1 mm to the right when viewing from the front. Shame on you 3DHS!

I looked at pictures of others on the Web and everyone I saw the spinner was not centered. Guess the gents didn't care

Other than that everything else is good so far!

So Lorne, are you saying these planes don't need the pipes with the 123 at the weights they come in at.

I have 1 RE2 and was going to get another. Perhaps cans are the way to go?

However I might go 3 blade on the 330 if I'm going to v use it for IMAC. So perhaps I should still pursue pipes.
