The Graupner feels like a dx5.

I agree. the old Ace 230 was 96" span. Fuse wasn't quite as large but not a long way off...but he!!, a lighter airframe, more power, electric smooth, DA service, shiny, anodized red carb plate, Duralite batts, guided by Futaba.....and don't forget wingburner tuning....what could possibly be the hold back!!!

He's takin some line, feels like a big one lol. I can say my mz-24 feels better than my jr 9303 feels about a pound lighter. No need for a neck strap being that light.

Lorne threw a bug in my ear saying the 3DHS 103" Extra 330SC could be put together extremely light. With the numbers Brad is getting with his 70 on Bender tuned pipes I think a person could graduate to a 26" prop.

I built 2 ACE 33% Extra 230's back in the day. Both weighed 25lbs and flew well on a G62. Not 3D style of course.

Just curious if you gents think the 70 is enough engine for decent flying if the weight came in at 23-24 lbs?
4 bender small smooth pipes should be in stock soon!!!

Well you guys being carbon fiber fanatics I figured you would like the flexable ca. Lorne used it on unsanded carbon sheet and it holds like a rock. And the gel is good for hard to reach places using a cue tip or balsa stick lol. Don't ask why I know lolol.
