FP 4.2 ... prop, sugestions ?

I have just test run my new First Place 4.2 with a 24/10 Fly-tec
(menz knock off )
at factory settings I got a reliable 1700 idle ... and a 8200-8500 top end ... I think its over reving a little would appreciate input from those experianced with simular engine I was thinking of a menz 26/8 ?....
oh ya its going on a 1/3 laser . at the price of large props ... hate to purchase on speculation !! Thanks !

Ill bet your engine would really like an MSC 24-10! This should reduce your RPMs down to about 7000, where it should be.

Thanks Mike ... I looked at your web page , MSC Props Look like a good option ! ... are they distributed by any Hobby Store's in the Ottawa ares ?

Not that Im aware of, but we do sell direct to the customer as well.

I tried a Forte 26/10 today and got an idle at 1400 and a top at 6200 , think a 26/8 may be ticket !
