Imagine, trying to sneak back in the house. After the dear wife was troubled by the price of your new transmitter!

"It all started when she asked, How did your new toy work"?

Is that what they call a "Dead Stick"?

I flew my new Graupner out to the point I got a signal strength alarm last eve.
"Signal Strength" I looked down to see it was at 20%. Made me stand up!

Did it say how far you were dale. And some people have gotten low signal strength but the radio and receiver were still getting good communication

I guess a guy might want to rethink his planned winter purchase. Something like that would really ---- me off. A extended waiting period for this product to prove its worth or not.

Jack it's all about context with you.

That's like me saying all DA are chint cause a jug popped off in one in flight!

Too add a little context since we know jack is more a tabloid kinda of guy, this incident is well documented in the jeti threads. The RX owner added some optional switch stick ends. In other pictures, you can see where he scored the stick tube either removing the old or adding the new ends. Looked like he used pliers or channel locks on pretty small tubing! There was quite a debate about it in jeti circles about two months ago. The concensus is poor installation was a fault.

Jack go back to feeding and nursing and crushing the flightless engine collection you maintain at the sanctuary!

I saw that failure. I wack the sticks very hard so I pushed my sticks with about 30 lbs force. didn't bend or break. I figure I will never push that much when I am wacking the sticks around.
my guess is the stick was compromised or something. I think on some of my old radios I would have broke the gimble pushing that hard.
