Dave I had no issue with the drivers stand at all. But I walked the track and saw the line. Hit it most of the time. I guess I expect a spots like the people describe at every event. It makes you a better driver. Just my .02.

Funny you say that as Dave Henry and I were just talking about that. We tend to dissagree on exactly what you are talking about. He thinks the track should be smoother, smaller easier jumps, no blind spots to give much more consistent lap times, I totally agree with him however I see the exact opposite as more fun for driving, blind spots so you have to have your car set up ahead of time. Monster jumps that you can barelly make and a track that is way more technical. Hudge step ups and step downs. Almost like bashing only with tubing around you! I guess one way is more fun and one way is better for racing.

my only suggestion is to have a HUGE high speed jump that is easy to line up and has a nice landing... kind of like the one you have on this track but going across the track so you can see the landing....

and ofcource lots of banked turns

banked turns... thats easy.
actually i had in mind for a corner or two instead of just having a berm, to actually have the base of the track surface banked and transitioned, with a berm, leading into something... well.. special... maybe that step up. a high speed, well groomed section
the off camber corner was awesome, causing the cars to push a lot. i was thinking of having the entry speed of the cars into the off camber corner even higher, so careful braking and steering become critical, and extending the off camber section of the corner even farther around the corner.. maybe 180 degrees instead of 90. just a thought
Elevation changes are the spice of life, in my opinion. I found them quite challenging and look foreward to more. flat tracks are boaring.
One thing i would like to add, on a personal preference note is that long back straights are BOARING! well, to me anyways. glad we didn't see any of that at the sprucewood this year. hope its the same next time.
I anticipate with the early start on next years race that there will be a LOT of time to perfect every aspect of the track.
So when are we all going to sit down and start to hammer out ideas? I'm available tomorrow (sunday the 25th) all day if you like. the weekend of the 1st is a writeoff for me, and so is thanksgiving weekend. let me know what works.

Smoother- Don't worry about it. Big jumps- Great. Small jumps-great. Your track was fine. I think the table top was the only jump that was kind of chunking out in the face an lip. Rutted tracks are fine to. It's offroad not onroad with bumps and jumps. A track that changes is fine with me. The more it changes the better for me. I'll have something for everyone next year. Opening the can now. LOL! It's not to early is it ? HAHA!

i liked the table top... but i think MAYBE for the sake of marshals and spectators... bit more of a run up to it... so ur straighter.... thus not decapitating ppl....
