Is he using channel 5 ( typically the retract port) ? Probably not, unless he is using this port for remote igintion kill ( either on, or off).

If it is available plug the second battery pack into channel 5. ( the only Rx-s i can think of that don't have a channel 5 retract port ar 4 channel Rx-s.

Anyway, if all the ports on the RX are used, and you are concernerd about a single plug for the batteries plugging into the receiver (assuming you used a "Y" harness for 2 packs with their attendant harnesses) here is a way around your problem...

Put the "Y" harness onto any port, ( I suggest the throttle servo).

Plug the main plug of the "Y" into the throttle port on the receiver. Plug the throttle servo into one of the plugs on the "Y" and the second battery pack into the other plug on the "Y".
