Sounds like a 'builders' kit", which is what I like, not a prefab, fall-together type of kit. I think the Unionville kits are the way I will go. Last summer while on vacation in the Yukon I came across the most gorgeous DH Beaver I have ever seen. It was fully restored and absolutely beautiful. I snapped about 30 pics of it from various angles, close-ups etc. Ever since that day I knew that I had to have a model of it!

nosedive i am finnishing up a unionville beaver myself and it is defenitly a builders kit.I am putting flaps and floats on mine it is the 72" version,i wil be useing a magnum .46but i am also thinking of useing an electric.Will let everyone know how it turns out.Good luck

Airsail makes a smaller beaver kit. 62" they are located in New Zealand. Real nice looking. a challenge to build. I havent flown it but my test pilot says it flys like a dream. overpowered with an os 32SX. But still flies great at 1/4 throttle.
