How do you do the milling?
I'm happy to hear that you like it, they fly extremely well but what I like the most is the endurance and the low cost. I just bought a template made by a sign company, cost me $100.00 and I use a dremel milling bit with a plexiglas base. I'm actually building a CNC gantry router, I just ordered the electronics for it today, I'll post pictures of it later. If you're interested in the dremel and template, I'll post some pics of the setup.

That's a good one, thanks for the tip.. that's just to illustrate the exercise I'm getting every time I have to run and retrieve my plane after I land inverted or hit something.

Re: Blue Foamie

Thanks to Colin, Steve, Emmanuel, Jason and Reg. from North Bay for coming up to fly with us at our gym, we had a wonderful time and awesome flying demos. Colin gave us some amazing heli and airplane flying, I think mine is defective from the factory because I can't do most... I mean all of this.. Steve did some very good flying with his and my foamy, he didn't even hit a thing...lucky I guess, actually he's an excellent flyer
we're looking forward to see you guys again soon.

Foamies at Hanmer High Jan 10 10
Before showing this muvee I just wanted to thank Colin and the boys that came down from The Bay. Colin treated us to a visual performance that will not be forgotten. Unfortunately he is so fast with a helicopter that the majority of the pictures are a blurr. If anyone tells you that you cannot land a heli inverted and then take off again, without crashing, don't beleive them. Colin proved it can be done when his main rotor hit the floor.

Also I could not resist messing with a few photos in the muvee, Sorry Giselle....

Dan

Thanks again for the beautiful pictures, I'd hide from Giselle if I were you for a while.

Hi
How does that Lazy Bee perform, one of our members want an easy plane to fly, that might do the trick.

Re: Blue Foamie

The lazy bee is awesome! very gentle and slow! That one is the Mk2 version. It's running a Turnigy 1811 2000kv motor, rudder and elevator. It is a 26" wingspan. Its got a bit of glue on it now and is getting heavy, but the next one I will try to mill out and not use so much glue in the wing dihedral joint!
