Re: New quadcopter from Blade, the mQX
You can check with hobbywholesale here in Edmonton, they don't have an online stock check so hard to tell. You can also check with hobbyalley, their westend store had 5-6 of them but their online stock only shows stock on their northside store.
I will say they are pretty loud for their size, the high pitched whine is quite loud in a small room.

Re: New quadcopter from Blade, the mQX
I went to my LHS (Hobby2000) in Gatineau yesterday, and the owner let me try the mQX. Nice little quad, but for me, it's a nice little quad. Just a bit too small to make it useful, although it might be fun for a while. Almost like when I got my first co-axial heli and then moved on... It was worth it, but didn't last long. Now, if you have money to spare, why not
I have been flying the Gaui 330Xs last summer, and was able to take some cool videos of our flying field. I found it to be a bit small after a while, and decided to buy the Gaui 500X upgrade kit (which I am building now - another topic coming with pictures).

Re: New quadcopter from Blade, the mQX
Well, everyone needs to start somewhere and just like the mcx and msr helped many heli pilots get into the hobby, I'm sure the mqx will do the same for quads... which was it's purpose.... comparing the mqx to a 330x is like comparing a msr to a trex 450...

Re: New quadcopter from Blade, the mQX
Very true. I guess it's harder to go smaller when you are already bigger . Unless smaller offers something new and exciting. It definitely is a nice and cheap way to get into Quads. I probably would have jumped on the first one to come out if it had been released a year ago.
