See.. I don't find any difference tipping the quad from side to side... And I don't know what I could posssibly doing wrong.. I followed all the instructions for the basics.. The rest is for customizing the flight experience. Only thing is I can't get it off the ground..lol

Re: Bumblebee ST550 Newbie Questions

Read this manual if you havn't already http://download.dji-innovations.com/..._Manual_en.zip

The firmware you have will be nerfed compared to the Naza, but the configuration should be the exact same (minus the GPS). Pay attention to the motor positions and the spin directions. CW CCW positions isn't extremely relevant, as long as they are mirrored as shown in the pictures.

Edit: I see flightlab posted the pics. Just read it anyway and follow the steps. I was going to recommend you make sure the props are pushing down instead of up, but it looks like you've done that as well.

yeah.. i'm at the point where I think I'm going to send the flight controller back.. Maybe even order the naza with GPS upgrade.

Not to mention I'm still waiting on my order of props to get in.. What a slow process when theres a lack of Stocked hobbie stores within the area let alone in the country..lol

Re: Bumblebee ST550 Newbie Questions

Did you connect all the motors to the esc's in exactly the same manner? If so, then that's the problem. Also, with the Bumblebee FC, there is no need to calibrate the esc's. It does everything for you using the ST config program. Just make sure you use the proam to configure your transmitter. So, once again, two motors diagnally to each other will turn one way and the other two motors must be reversed.

Just as an FYI: the front left motor and rear right motor should have props labeled 1038P (facing up) and the motors should turn clockwise, and the front right motor and rear left motor should have props labeled 1038 (facing up) and the motors should turn counter clock wise.

Let us know if you have verified this setup exactly as I have described it.
