Aluminum Rod
I am looking for 3mm & 4mm dia. aluminum rod, at least 12" in length. Does anyone know where on this planet I can find such a thing? I am having no luck as all my local guys only carry imperial

3mm=0.1181" don't know a possible sae subsitute.
4mm=0.157480315" Can you sub 5/32" (0.15675) closest? 1) check with some of the industrial metal suppliers; 2) know someone with a lathe, that could turn you down a length of each?; 3) try a european source. Best I can come up with. Sorry

Here ya go. I don't have any personal experience with MC, but it's been documented here that you need to have an account with them, and shipping could be a problem. Do you know anyone south of the border, or someone near home that does have an account.

Try metalsupermarkets there is a store located in edm at 11451-156st.they have all sorts of metal and will cut to length even in inches,
