Seems there is a lot of discussion about the 7/8 vs 14/15 Jun, I for one for what it's worth, (only my opinion), as long as it's not on the 7/8 Jun I'm good. Spring float fly is one not to be missed. What weekend did we have it last year?
How about asking when people don't want it held.

Since the voting is a little messed up why dont we get rid of the current poll and start a new one.

Bill, you know we would get 365 answers.

Al...I was thinking along those lines, but it is impossible for a user to delete, edit or change a poll, or lock a thread. This one is only open for a limited time. I'll bring it up with the organizers, but one option is to let this one die a natural death, then make a new one based on the feedback received so far.....

Hi Guys

Any weekend in May or June is fine for me. I'll work around your schedules!

Bill - If you're referring to me trying to contact Dale and get an answer from him,,, I've given up. At least you spoke to him briefly

In answer to your Q about last year's rally, it was held during the last weekend of May (the weekend after Victoria Day Weekend). It worked well for most everyone, especially the guys that wanted to go to the Shuswap Float Fly after. However, it was not a good weekend for our American friends as it is their Memorial Day weekend and most have family plans.

Everyone - As far as this (now) inaccurate poll goes, I agree that we should just let it die. We can either run another poll in the near future, or just use the feedback from this thread and make a decision from there. It appears that May, rather than June, will be less of a problem for most. Unfortunately, I don't think that we will find a weekend that is perfect for everyone. All we can do is try to pick one that is convenient to most, and will facilitate the largest turnout. Easy,,, right?

On the other hand, some jets is way better than no jets.

I just found out from the Idaho jet guys that they have the June 6-8 weekend planned for the Parma, Idaho jet event.

Yes, they are trying to decide the Spring Princeton time frame. Waiting for the snow to melt.
