Well beleive it or not I got my Radian back to-day. Had a freind with an Ultra light fly over and located it. he drew me a map and 2 days later I found it. But not good news. It looks like a Bear took a bight out of one wing, Then the small animals chewed the wires off just about every thing else. They even chewed the battery pack. I think the only thing salvagable will be the motor. The fus. is in 3 peices. BOO HOO. Oh well at least I can sleep at night now. Not knowing is hard on me. Thanks for all the help and suport. Al

Well I guess that's good news...kind of. How about a picture of the bear-bitten wing?

Re: Radian Glider

Sorry to hear. Saddle up though, sailing in winter is great.

Re: Radian Glider

If you are interested in a pic or two my Grandaughter is coming this week-end and I'll ask her to put them on for me. I'm not sure how myself. As for the glider, I think I'll just stick with my Kadet Sr. and my 12ft. telamaster. I'm just too old to start learning something new. Al

Re: Radian Glider

Here are the pictures of the wings and the battery pack.
No guarrantee that a bear bit it, but it was a big animal.

Re: Radian Glider

I sure hope he got a good one. the batterys where fully charged. May be he was just getting even by bitting the wing. Oh well, a new one every day. This one just takes the cake for me. Al

Re: Radian Glider

Well Al, if it's any consolation, you might just be the first and only person to lose a plane to a bear.
