My first attempt at posting pics here on the form see how it goes. The pics are of the Confederation Bridge that links Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick and the Gateway Village in Borden PEI. Maybe some one can give me tips on how to post the pics directly in the post thanks

Nice work Emdry...and a beautiful plane. Did you buy that from mwcores? I would to hear more about the plane...how is it in the wind? How much was it?

I can't take any credit for the creativity of the plane, it is a Mike Powers design as WaldoPepper mention above. It's one of his latest design I believe, called Passive. It is quite bit heavier than Mike's plane as I couldn't bring myself to use the white foam, instead I when with the Blue foam board but it still has a wing loading of 8oz/sqft ready to fly with cam.

Mark I cut the wing cores with help from some local friends as I mentioned above I used blue foam just can't seem to have faith in the white foam especially when it's not covered with anything. So the plane ended up a fair bit heavier than Mike's plane but it still flies well. With a wing loading of 8 oz/sqft ready to fly with cam on board the take off run is about the length of itself and the landing roll out isn't very much longer than that. So it should be able to fly in and out of about anywhere. I don't think it's going to fly well in a lot of wind but what I built it for is in hopes of doing some video and to get good video your going to need calm air anyway with just about any plane. This thing flies really really slow so should be a good platform for video. I would be more than happy to answer other questions you might have on the plane.

Thanks the cam is a canon SD300 I picked up used off ebay just something to start out with. I am thinking I am going to need a way better cam before long. the take off was from asphalt actually one of the old parking lots from the days of the ferry runs. I have about 7 flights on the airframe still getting use to how it handles, so far I like it quite well. I am sure it would be an easy hand launch because it does fly so slow and the lands are so slow also almost no roll out. It seems to have a fair bit of drag you can dive it down on fairly steep angle and when you level off it pretty near stops, so I am thinking I could put it down most anywhere with out doing any damage to the plane.
