It seems like I post this beauty for sale every couple of months and then change my mind when I see the pictures posted here!!! LOL!

I've got for sale Carden's latest 126" release - the 126", 43% Edge!! I bought this kit brand new from Dennis and Caroline nearing Christmas 2009 (I think it was kit #2 produced!!).

It's a beauty and it's a monster... and what's built on it so far is done with some trick techniques and is en route to being super light!

Why am I selling it?
* I've honestly got too many contracts lined up and I already have a 43% Carden in the air and a 58% Pitts nearing completion - no need for a 3rd Behemoth!! This project has been on hold for a while now due to my Pitts build and it's time it goes to the right home while building season is upon us!!!

What's done so far...
* Fuse is framed up with gear installed and belly done.
* Motorbox is cut for DA150/170, 3W157/170 or any other twin cylinder or a Mintor220.
* Tunnel is built for Mintor 220 canisters, but would be a breeze to modify for any motor.
* Wings are sheeted (and if you check in the build thread, there's some trick lightening done to it so far).
* Rudder is sheeted - same thing - trick lightening

What's left to go... an easy winter project
* Cut out rudder and install vert stab
* Sheet t-deck and install
* Hatch build + Cowl install
* Cut out Ailerons and edge wings
* Stabs to build
* Cover

I started with the intention to use this for IMAC with my Mintor220 and then decided to make it really light, install a DA150 in it for an ultralight 3D machine... you could finish it however you'd like. With the big quad in IMAC configuration, expect 41lbs. With a DA150, I was targetting 35lbs, which would be insane!!!!

Carden sells these kits for $1695US + $390 shipped to Canada + taxes + conversion... count on $2400.00Cdn for the kit to your door!

I'll also throw in:

* Lightened main aluminum gear ($60 upgrade)
* 43% Foam Pilot from AircraftInternational.com ($60 value)
* SWB 2.5° offset motor mount ($80 value)

If there is something you'd like me to do as part of the sale (modify the tunnel for the motor of your choice, etc, etc) I will for a very moderate cost increase!!.. a point of negotiation!!



With 29% more wing area than a 40% Carden, at 35lbs, it would be the dream 3D machine and I know it will stand any abuse that could be thrown at it! With a DA170 or a 4-cylinder, this would be a killer IMAC machine at 37 - 41lbs!!

It comes with carbon tubes and Carden's latest designs - truely a one of a kind plane!!!!!

Yep... I'm really going to sell it this time!
