Her is my newly finished E-Flight Extra 260.

I am running a CustomCDR.com "Cool Runnings" single stator brushless motor with an ICAR Easy 12 Speed controller. Motivation comes from a Thunder Power 7.4v 480 mAh Li-Po. Rx is Spektrum 6100. I would like to put a 6100E in it but no one has them yet. Servos are Futaba S3114. iwent with these as they have better specs then the Hitec HS55 for the same price. Torque is 23.5oz and speed is 0.09 @ 6.0v and they are the same size with a weight of 0.27oz.

here are some pics....

SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Maybe no one will notice.

Well everyone is always going on and on and onandon..... and on about the Extra 260 so I thought I would try one. Didn't want to invest a whole bunch of money in a 33 or 35% so I figured this one would be a start.

No seriously though this was a good price and I couldn't find anyone who had a Yak in stock.. As a matter of fact I bought a second "spare" kit that I haven't built yet.

I have it ballanced where they recommend.

Steve are you going up to Barrie Friday night?

Prop is a GWS 9 x 5 or 6 HP, not a slow flyer prop. I went with the 2s 480's because I was told to keep it light for indoors

Seems to have enough power to climb out of a hover at 1/2 throttle.. so you tell me is that enough?

Foamy

Hey Jim,
I won't be at the Barrie indoor this Friday night. I'm heading down to Columbus Ohio for the JR Indoor Event on Thursday. I'll be going to Barrie the following Friday for sure.
