BME Edge 540, MVVS 45 RTF - $1500!! - RCCanada

Hi all,

I have a 29% (86") BME Edge for sale. This is the second generation airframe and is in excellent condition. I flew the airplane in the summer of 2006 and 2007 with an MVVS 45 on it with no incidents. At the end of the 2007 season I installed a brand new MVVS 45 with the new ICU-S ignition. The airplane was flown 4 times with this engine, it hasn't even had a full gallon of fuel through it. Exhaust is an in-fuse KS cannister. The airplane is very quiet in the air and performs well. Hovering happens at half throttle with lots of power for pull out. I have been running a Menz 22x8 prop. The original engine spun this prop at 7100rpm, the new engine should do just as well or better. The airplane flies very nicley, and is an easy handler, sometimes I think it lands slower than my trainer did. There is a video of the airplane on my web site www.mvvs-canada.com. Aileron and elevator servos are Hitec 5945s, rudder is a 5955. There is a digital metal gear servo on the throttle as well, I can't remember what it is though. When I set up the servos I spent hours matching throws with a servo programmer. A Hitec Supreme RX is included. The RX pack is 2100mah 6V, the ignition pack is a 1800mah LiPoly. I have the wing and stab bags that were supplied with the airplane as well.

Due to other time commitments, I did not fly this airplane last year and this year isn't looking good either. I'd rather see it getting a work-out!

I'm looking for $1500 for the airplane. Local pickup only please.

Weekend bump! Have a look guys! We built one of these airplanes with an MVVS 58 in it, and while fun, the higher wing loading made it a bit more of a hand-full at lower speeds. With the 45 this thing just floats in for landings, a great opportunity for someone to step into giant scale aerobatics!

Dave, watz going on. Is this fine aircraft still on the market ? This thread has kinda died and Im not sure why. Seems like a sorry if I missed it type deal. I just dont have the room for another aircraft but would be willing to trade up if horse trading is in the works, and if not I guess Im just going to beat myself to death just a little longer !!
