Team Associated B4 Getting Hot?!?!

hey guys, i just recently put a sidewinder 5700kv combo in my B4, it runs like a champ but... it seems to be getting pretty hot after runs. im running 19/81 gearing. any suggestions on what i can do to minimize the heat?

mamba 5700 heat issues

if i were you id use the 87 tooth spur gear and a smaller pinion such as a 14-15 tooth . that should bring down your motor temps . id also suggest to keep your settings on low such as motor timing, and punch control.


im assuming you are only using 2s lipo in your b4 .

Larger spur and smaller pinion will drop the temps.

What surface are you running on (high grip, low grip)?
How long are you running it for before checking the temps?

well im usually running on asphalt or dirt... and i usually run a whole battery or check every 5-10 mins?
