Poor Ken lost his AW Edge last year from a folding wing. high speed low pass he had to pull up quick to avoid another plane. one wing folded straight over. Good ol' aluminum wing tube gave out on it

BillPilot.ca lost a 42% Extra a year ago. Wing failure.
Over the years lots of more successful fella's than you Jeff!
Meaning yes. common in many kit built plans. Don't even ask about winch launching gliders, ha-ha. Every event years ago.

Murray toll ripped the wing off his 89" yak. Some of the foam and wing tube came right out of the wing.
